Hello everyone! I’m Drew, a 20 year old stay at home mom from Oklahoma! 

Recently I knew I needed a change, but for the life of me I couldn’t figure out what it was. 

And it was totally driving me crazy!! 

I have a friend in barber school and she asked to give me a haircut for her portfolio. 

I said yes I needed a trim anyways. 

It wasn’t until I sat down in her chair watching her brush out my hair that I had any idea of what I really needed. 

“Cut it off to my shoulders” 

I saw her shocked reaction in the mirror as soon as the words came out of my mouth. 

I had amazingly thick, long hair that everyone loved, oo-ed and ahh-ed over. And I thought I loved it too. But little did I know it wasn’t really what I needed. 

She started cutting. 

I asked for bangs. 

As soon as I saw the end result I was in shock. It looked amazing!!! 

Sure it was short and mom-ish. But it was me. It was life changing. 

Later that night someone took a video of me and I didn’t even know. When she showed it to me. I was even more amazed than I was in the first place. 

I saw a video of me and I didn’t think I looked unkept or like a mess, I looked beautiful. 

Every morning since then I don’t dread trying to tame my hair all day. 

I was excited to show off my cute new hair that I never knew I needed. 

So if you feel like you need a change, or your hair feels completely overwhelming try a new short cut maybe with some bangs. 

I promise you it’ll feel a lot more freeing than you think!
