These two.
It is a pretty special bond they have.
I always find myself in just a state of awe when I see how close they are.
As they both age their bond gets stronger.
Which in my head, I never thought would happen.
Considering they have less and less in common with age.
Considering they have less of the same interests.
Considering they are in different stages of their life.
Our daughter Natalie is our middle child.
Our son Avery is our oldest child & was diagnosed many years ago with severe non verbal autism.
I came to the realization the bond they have is unbreakable & gets stronger as they age.
Which when you think about that, it simply is just incredible.
At 6 AM, while in our hotel room these 2 kids sat together & looked out at the water park.
Both kids couldn't sleep anymore but I could hear our daughter Natalie explaining to Avery about all the fun we were about to have that day.
Avery looks to Natalie constantly for guidance in various ways & Avery couldn't have a better tour guide in his life.
Natalie thinks Avery can do anything & be anything he wants in this world with or without her help.
But no matter what Natalie will always be willing to guide him along his way during the storms or the sunshine.
